These terms govern your use of BuilderReview. By creating an account or posting a review you agree to them. Please read them carefully — they explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
1. Who can use BuilderReview
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in India.
You may hold only one personal account. Businesses (builders, vendors, associations) use a verified business account, which requires documentary proof such as a RERA registration or GST certificate.
2. Writing reviews
Reviews must describe your own first-hand experience with a property, builder or vendor. You must be able to support factual claims with proof — a possession letter, agreement, invoice or work order.
We do not publish reviews written for payment or other incentive by the party being reviewed. We do not publish hate speech, personal attacks, defamatory claims, other people’s copyrighted media, contact details, or promotional links.
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a licence to display and distribute it on the platform.
3. Verification
We verify identity and association documents to keep reviews credible. Documents you upload are used only for verification, are not shown publicly, and are represented on your profile solely as a verification badge.
A verification badge reflects the checks we were able to perform. It is not a guarantee about any person or business.
4. Moderation
Every review passes through moderation before publication. We may decline, edit for policy compliance, or remove content that breaches these terms, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.
If your review is declined we will tell you why, and you may correct and resubmit it.
5. Rewards
Approved reviews may earn a reward, paid via UPI. Rewards are discretionary, are issued only after moderation approval, and may be withheld where we detect fraud, duplicate accounts or coordinated posting.
6. Our role
BuilderReview is a platform for user-generated opinion. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a builder, vendor or association, and we do not endorse any listing.
We work to keep the service available and accurate but provide it on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for most users is nil.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Where changes are material we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use BuilderReview after that means you accept the updated terms.
